No 11 Hotel, Brunswick St. in Edinburgh approached Tigerchick to photograph and design a website for the brand-new hotel. Our main challenge was in launching the website before the hotel was even complete.
Tigerchick initially photographed the hotel while builders were still working, focussing on historical details and carefully post-processing to provide intriguing and attractive imagery for the initial launch.
Design work was initially driven through careful consultation with the client and a colour chart of the proposed paints to be used in the decoration to understand what the building was about to become.
The initially limited imagery meant that exquisite typography was to be particularly important. On returning to the hotel for the final photography shoot, we were delighted that final images and site matched perfectly.
The hotel, with a regularly changing art exhibition has a full content management system, so new exhibitions and pictures can be easily updated. Search Engine Optimisation is important on every website and our efforts here have ensured this website is now highly visible in the search engines.
