Cleugh Farm Bothy is a self-catering cottage based on a farm in Lanarkshire. The business had been previously disadvantaged with a web presence that was failing to show the cottage at its best and not generating sufficient bookings. Catherine and Charles Bothwell approached Tigerchick for a beautiful website and photography that would do their cottage justice.
Tigerchick undertook a full day's photography of both the award-winning cottage and the surrounding farm and landscape. The design of the website is very much in keeping with its rural location and emphasises the farm as an attraction as much as the accommodation itself.
Considered "keyword research" uncovered search terms that the site was then optimised for, increasing the website's chances of discovery in a variety of ways through the search engines.
A Facebook page was also setup, allowing the Bothwells to keep their fans up to date with recent news of the farm through the seasons and the farm cat, Tango!
